Miles Ames

Violinist Miles Ames has been performing professionally across New England for eight years.

A distinguished alumnus of the Royal Academy of Music, Miles is an active performer as a member of the Elmore Quartet and in collaboration with the acclaimed Bandoneon virtuoso, Mario Stefano Pietrodarchi.

He has become a prominent figure in the musical landscapes of Vermont and New Hampshire. His solo performances at the Green Mountain Chamber Music Festival and annual participation in the Dirt Road concert series at the Apple Hill Centre for Chamber Music have established him as a cherished artist in the region.

 

Miles has also made notable appearances on Vermont Public Radio alongside the Vermont Youth Orchestra and on National Public Radio's From The Top series as a chamber player.

He has performed in several countries across Europe; notable performances include appearances at the Stradivarius Festival in Cremona and collaborations with the Jerusalem Quartet in Crans-Montana, Switzerland.

​

Under the tutelage of renowned mentors Michael Foyle and Peter Zazofsky, Miles is currently pursuing a Master's degree at the Royal Academy of Music.
